To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Rick Stein’s iconic Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, I was tasked with designing a commemorative event menu that would serve both as a functional piece and a keepsake for guests. The design needed to reflect the restaurant’s heritage, premium quality, and the significance of the occasion.

The final menu features an elegant design with a striking illustration of a lobster, hand-drawn by Kate Stein, serving as the central visual element. Gold foiling was applied to enhance its premium feel, creating a memento worthy of framing. The ‘Celebrating 50 Years’ roundel logo, designed to complement the restaurant’s refined aesthetic, was applied across the menu and extended to Rick Stein’s website and wider marketing communications, unifying the anniversary campaign with a sophisticated and celebratory tone.
